In addition to hosting cultural events such as " The funeral of Farsang ", Easter egg painting program , "Days of Hungarian Culture " popular exhibitions, the Benedek Manor House hosts a valuable collection of popular weavings, which highlights the symbolical meaning of traditional costumes and textiles of traditional interiors. It shows the complexity and variants of weawings. It is a unique opportunity to learn more about the special symbols and weaving techniques as well. The weavings are displayed in order of their complexity, to understand the history of them. Another part of the textiles are shown in the position they had once in traditional life. The collection of wooden fretwork patterns used in the local folk architecture is also an important element regarding Secler history. Among the 1,200 fretwork patterns, there are symbols used on fences, porches, facades. The methods of presentation correspond to the requirements of cultural anthropology.
